Through Buddhist Eyes
18th November @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm GMT

Through Buddhist Eyes is our new monthly Saturday morning drop-in class on imagination, creativity and inspiration.
For our next event on the 18th of November, we will discover how our dream life can connect us to a deeper source of energy and awareness. Many of us as children directly felt the magic and wonder of dreams but as we get older, we grow alienated from them. This doesn’t have to be the case. In this workshop, we will help one another reconnect with the beauty and depths that are possible through truly honouring our dreams.
Arthabandu, experienced Buddhist practitioner and long-time explorer of the dream world will be leading us in:
- Practical ways we can develop a rich dreamlife
- What the Buddhist tradition has to say about dreams
- The benefits of bringing mindfulness and loving kindness into our dreams
- And how all this can benefit us during the waking state too
Date: 18th November
Time: 10.00am-12.30pm
Doors open from 9.45am
Effra Space, 21 Effra Parade SW2 1PX
This event is drop-in, no need to book ahead.
About our Through Buddhist Eyes series
Buddhist practice can very often lead to strong experiences and changes in how we see the world. We may feel an irrepressible urge to express this through our creative pursuits. Unleashing our creativity in the context of Buddhist practice can help us connect to new states of being.
How can we work with our spiritual vision and convey our emotional energy? We’ll introduce the work of Buddhist artists, musicians, scientists, performers, dancers, poets, story tellers, writers and more who use their practice as inspiration.
Each month at this class we’ll be offering both a space to meditate together on the weekend, as well as a place to unlock our own imaginations and creativity by inviting a member of our community to share what animates and inspires their own practice.
