MEN’S GREAT GATHERING WEEKEND at Padmaloka Men’s Retreat Centre – 24-26 February

Maitrinara and a group of men from Brixton will be travelling to Padmaloka Retreat Centre for this Great Gathering retreat weekend. In the course of this weekend, we will be exploring the lives of the earliest disciples of the Buddha, the arahants of the Pali scriptures and their revolutionary lives of renunciation and liberation.

We will not only contemplate the purity of their renunciation and their life of liberation, we will also see how they brought about a social revolution, with the Buddha urging them to go forth out of compassion to make known the Dharma life for the welfare and the benefit of ‘the many people’.

Details and Timings

The retreat starts with dinner on the first day at 6:30pm and finishes on the final day at around 2:30pm.

A group of Brixton men will be travelling to Padmaloka retreat centre together. It will be a great chance to deepen both your spiritual practice and your friendships with fellow Brixton men.
