Science, Art and Buddhism: Mind and Consciousness

Beauty. Mystery. Wonder. Imagination. Qualities shared by these three disciplines – so are they really all that different?

This new Saturday morning discussion series examines the relationship between themes in the Sciences and Arts with Buddhism. Featuring a short TED-style talk by distinguished Buddhist speakers, this morning offers plenty of space for lively discussion in a relaxed atmosphere, along with a short led meditation.

We’ll be joined this Saturday by chair of Brixton Buddhist Community and former neuroscientist, Viryanaga, who will be speaking on the topic of mind and consciousness.

No experience required, drop-in suitable for newcomers to Buddhism.
