Puja Night

29th June @ 7:30 pm - 9:15 pm BST

Opening our hearts and our imagination – an evening of Puja

Puja, or Buddhist ritual, is an event where we can open our hearts and our imagination to what is most precious and marvellous. By worshipping the Buddha and the Bodhisattvas, we aspire to join them and recognise the challenges we face and the help we need in our lives. With our body, speech and mind, and in community with others, we surround ourselves in beauty, light and incense, in an environment that allows us to truly experience the moods of the sevenfold puja.

Join us for a brief talk, meditation and Puja, all welcome.

Just turn up on the day – no booking necessary.

7.30pm – 9.15pm, Wednesday 29th June

Effra Space, 21 Effra Parade, SW2 1PX – Effra Space has step-free access throughout

At this event, face coverings will be discretionary. The wearing of face coverings is optional, but still welcomed if you would prefer to do so.

Our events are free of charge but all donations are gratefully received. We are completely reliant on your gifts to run these events, and to keep them free for those without the means to give financially. We’d suggest a donation of £10/£5 for this event, depending on your income. There will be a collection bowl and card reader at the event. If you’d like to make a donation in advance, click here.
