Puja Night
12th April @ 7:30 pm - 9:15 pm BST

Opening our hearts and our imagination – an evening of Puja
Puja, or Buddhist ritual, is an opportunity to suspend our mundane and everyday interaction with the world and get in touch with our deeper emotional connection to the aspects of life that we don’t understand, and open our hearts and our imagination to what is most precious and marvellous. Think of it as a doorway to the unknown, a chance to let go of our drive to control and to surrender to mystery instead.
If you’ve never taken part in a Puja before, you are welcome to come along and see what it’s like. There will be a brief talk and a meditation, followed by a traditional Buddhist sevenfold puja.
Just turn up on the day, no booking necessary.

Donations
To keep our classes accessible, all events at Brixton Buddhist Community are offered by donation. We’d suggest a donation of £10 per class, depending on your income. Although our classes are all run by volunteers, in order to cover our costs we’re completely reliant on your gifts and generosity to run classes, courses and events, and to keep them available for all.
