How to be Annoyed, Angry and thoroughly Furious

June 26 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

How to be annoyed, angry and thoroughly furious.

When we think of meditation, we might imagine our mind becoming like a cool, calm lake, bubbling with fresh water and full of beautiful flowers. And then we start trying to develop loving-kindness towards someone we find challenging, and that lake turns into a grimy, mosquito-filled swamp, or a raging volcano erupting all over the place, burning everything in its path.

In this livestream, we will let go of the assumption that being a meditator or Buddhist means that we don’t experience anger towards ourselves and others. Instead, we will courageously, and patiently, explore what really happens when we come across hatred in its various forms. Energy, freedom, compassion are all are available to us on the other side.

Includes two short led meditations, suitable for both newcomers and regular meditators, meditation teaching and a chat-room Q&A.

This episode is part of a six video mediation series that invites us to explore, be challenged by and start breaking down the mind-made barriers that separate us from each other and that cause so much pain.
