Study Afternoon with Danayutta

2nd October @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm BST

Study Afternoon with Danayutta – all welcome!
Sunday 2nd Oct 1.30 – 3.30pm followed by a photoshoot 3.30-4.30pm

How to Live: Reverence during rush hour

We may have moments of clarity, joy, inspiration or even a vision of how our lives could be more in line with reality – but how do we bring these into our everyday life? It can seem difficult to bring such intentions into the mundane reality of rush hour, supermarket shopping and customer service helplines!

Join us for an afternoon of study with Danayutta, an experienced practitioner and teacher from the East London Buddhist Centre, as we reflect on the Mahamana Sutta in which the Buddha gives advice to one of his disciples on this very topic.

During the afternoon we’ll engage in discussion and reflection, and also have the opportunity to connect with others in the Brixton Buddhist Community.

After the study session we’ll be having a short photoshoot as we’d like to be able to include more images of our beautiful community in our publicity and on our website. If you have the time to stay for an extra hour and be photographed, it would be extremely helpful to our media team! We’ll be offering cake and tea as an extra incentive – in case you needed one!
